I just couldn't help myself. I have to post this tonight too. Tonight's dinner made all of us so happy. Everything for the exception of the strawberries and kiwi in the fruit salad came from our garden or the farm up the road. It was such a delicious and fresh dinner, the kids just kept eating and eating. Seeing how happy it makes them that they know where everything they are eating came from, makes me feel amazing. Picking the veggies and then eating them within an hour of harvest, is so fantastic. Sorry if I seem a little to kiddy about this, I am just so pleased with what we have managed to do for ourselved to improve the quality of our lives and that of the planet we live on. No fossil fuels were used to make this dinner, okay will maybe a few to get the kiwis here. But that is much better than how it use to be. Sorry this isn't a scratch and sniff blog because I really think you all would have loved it.
