A Month In And I Want More!!!!!

I can not get enough of the changes I am going through.  There are not enough yoga classes for me to do, there are not enough hours in the day to make the food I want to make to nourish my body, there are not enough pages to write all the thoughts that go thru my head, there is not enough light to read all the pages upon pages of information I am coming across in my journey.

I am super excited to attending Elean Brower's Art Of Attention workshop on April 3rd in DC.  You can see more about her at this link  http://www.artofattention.com/.  Her writings and yoga practices have been so inspiring to me.  I cannot explain the connection I feel to someone I have never met in person, but I truly feel a soul connection to her and cannot get enough info from  her.  As much as I love living in this beautiful countryside, I so wish there were yoga studios here in my area so that classes were close by.  My yoga practice has improved and I am pleased with what I have accomplished by practicing on my own at home but hunger for more!!!!

So then there is my new adventures in eating and my voyage into basically an anti-inflammatory diet compliments of the amazing Kris Carr and her book Crazy Sexy Diet.  More can be found out about this at http://www.crazysexylife.com/   She is such an inspiring woman and learning to juice and cut sugar, caffeine, dairy and processed foods out of my diet has made me feel so much better.  I am not going to lie, it is hard to do.  It takes planning and time to keep you from going and grabbing something at Mickey D's in a pinch, or buy pre-packaged crap in the grocery store.  But it is so worth it, and once I am more familiar with the recipes and the food combinations, it will be second nature.  Nothing worth having in life comes easily and without elbow grease and I am perfectly happy to do what it takes to make myself feel better and help my body function at it's best.

My new juicer put to the test.
My new juicer is amazing and so much fun to use.  I am loving playing around with it and coming  up with new drinks.

First Green Juice ever for me.

The wonderful ingredients for my drinks.
