worries, wonders and weddings

So, today is the first day of this blog. Don't really know what I am doing, but I journal so I guess I will just do that here. My oldest son totaled his car this past Tuesday afternoon and I have been a bundle of nerves since. Tonight he drove to his old hometown to see friends that are home from college for Springbreak. I am waiting to get a text message from him saying he arrived safely now that I will worry everytime he gets into a car.
The sun was amazingly warm today and tried desperately to melt away the last of the snow. As luck would have it, old man winter won and there is still some snow here. But what a glorious day none the less. So many signs of Spring including tulips and daffodils bursting through the ground, birds waking me in the morning and the slightest hint of peonies and bledding hearts peeking through the dirt. Makes me believe that maybe by my wedding date of May 22nd, the ground will truly be dry and the sun warm.
